Is it completely ridiculous to feel like you're cheating on a crush with another crush? Because that's how I feel. Like I thought I was 'over' Ryan Gosling and I'm now 'with' Ikuta Toma, but here comes Ryan again and we have a history. Ooooor maybe that's just me, LOL.
But even ignoring the whole Ryan aspect, I actually REALLY enjoy their music. It's the kind of weird, spooky-yet-fun kind of stuff I love. Ever since I was little, I've wanted to live in Halloween Town (the Nightmare Before Christmas one, not so much the Disney version). Or at the very least, have haunted house sounds playing in my apartment. In my dorm I kept my Halloween decorations up all year long. I am biased, having been born in October, but Halloween is my favorite holiday. Point is, I'm disappointed in myself for not knowing about this project earlier. But now that I know, I will enjoy the hell out of it.
Between Jude Law being on a Japanese show with Toma, finding out Ryan is in a Halloween-musical style band ('Halloween hymns'), seeing Joe Jonas tweet about The Notebook (making real men cry), and finding out that USA Network is filming crossover promo shoots featuring USA Characters (White Collar/Psych for example!! - http://community.livejournal.com/p…), it's been a weird mind-bendy couple of days. Now, if I found out Ryan was a fan of the Mighty Boosh, I could call it a day.
I was looking up songs online that I hear every day at work. Turns out I like Jesse McCartney o_0
Anyhoo, I was just wondering if anybody had "Life Gave Me Lemonade" and/or "When Did You Fall In Love With Me?" by Chris Rice. In return, I have the music I currently can't get out of my head:
The Veronicas - Take Me On The Floor Taylor Swift - You Belong With Me Taylor swift - Should've Said No Kings Of Leon - Use Somebody Kings of Leon - Sex On Fire Jesse McCartney ft. T-Pain - Body Language (remix) Jesse McCartney - How Do You Sleep Honor Society - Magic Demi Lovato and Jonas Brothers - On the Line Christina Aguilera - Come On Over (All I Want Is You) Carolina Liar - Show Me What I'm Looking For Britney Spears - Circus Norwegian Recycling - How Six Songs Collide Train - Hey, Soul Sister (m4a) Miley Cyrus - Party In the U.S.A. (m4a)
New Psych tonight! After rewatching episodes and (having started) reading one of the 'novels,' I just want to say that I love how Shawn's dad has pretty much accepted Shawn and Gus as a couple. Oh, and USA just used a clip of Shawn & Gus to advertise for a matchmaking service <3
So I went to the midnight showing of Cloverfield last night. In short, I really enjoyed it. If you like being scared, you should definitely go see this movie. Unfortunately, I came home to an empty apartment (my roommate was already in SF) and I had an 8 am class this morning. I think I got about 2 or 3 hours of sleep last night.
Thankfully, I only had that one class so my mom picked me up after and I'm back in Daly City. I got a delicious burrito (man, I love La Corneta), redyed my hair (it's red again!), and I finally got to watch Torchwood. ( Collapse )
Now I'm just waiting on Atlantis and Psych.
Oh, and the counseling people finally called me back. After that whole anxiety/panic attack/EKG thing, I have an appointment to talk to someone on the 30th. Who knows, maybe this will actually help. It does seem to have gotten worse lately :/

* 'Where's the Girl?' "Terry Mann is recording 'Where's the Girl?' Every woman in the control room is draped over something, languorous and hanging on his every word. When he gets to 'I'll warm you, I'll rouse you...' one of the women says, 'Yeah, well, I think I need to hear that track about 17 more times...'" ~Nan Knighton Beyond the Glass Wall: the making of The Scarlet Pimpernel
