For the Cross-Pollination of Trek Fandom

Remember how, in the new movie, old!Spock gets stranded on Delta Vega in that cave and the first person he comes into contact with is this brash young version of his best friend ever who's dead and they do the mind meld thing and... it's sort of hot?

Remember how TOS kept insisting the more Kirk, the better? And Kirk liked it?

This community is all about that. space_seed is for anything that promotes the idea that the space-time-AU-continuum is infinitely mutable. And that DOESN'T just mean Kirk/Spock.

What does this mean?

Pretty much anything you want it to. But here's what I have in mind:

Form: stories, meta, banners, icons, vids, articles, suggestive photos, squee, anything relevant to the smooshing together of alternate Star Trek universes/times.

Content: May include, but not exclusively,

Kirk/Kirk and assorted selfcest
nuSpock/Kirk!Prime
nuKirk/Spock!Prime
nuSpock/Spock!Prime
nu/Prime anyone, really
mirror!verse
rpf/Trek crossovers!
basically any alternate version of anyone interacting with anyone else
adding Shatner to anything at all
but this shouldn't be all about Kirk/Spock

I'm going to be pretty lenient with this--just stay within the spirit. This means that if you want to play in the mirror!verse, or gives us deleted scenes from "The Enemy Within," that's totally cool. If you want to give us a "Mirror, Mirror" from the new movie, that's totally cool. If you can work in Shatner's song stylings to any of this, bonus points for you.
