Entry Two: Genius Me... Once Again!

Mmm, I should really, really start paying more attention to the set dates around me. Received a text from a friend today asking, "Hey! Have you got your Sasquatch tickets yet!? You better have! You said you'd come with us!" My response: "Fuck. They're sold out."

For those of you who don't know what Sasquatch, (no, not the beast in Western Washington) is, it's Sasquatch Music Festival. A three day event of straight indie rock, alternative, hip-hop bands and artists such as Mumford & Sons, She & Him, Vampire Weekend, My Morning Jacket, Wale, Broken Social Scene, Kid Cudi, Tegan and Sarah, Caribou, Fruit Bats, Local Natives, Freelance Whales, MGMT, Band of Horses, The Temper Trap, Passion Pit, and these are just some of the SMALL highlights, yeah, small highlights. Well, being the idiot I am, I never got my 3 day pass when they went on sale on the 16th of February. A little past due, don't ya think? Oh well, I'm hitting up Craigslist and will probably drop more than I should for a 3 day pass; but with all the music, enjoyable fattening food, and excessive drinking, then I am most certain it will be well worth the money.

Ah, another show I missed... John Mayer. That was last night. Was planning on going, but once again, never ordered my tickets before they sold out. I suck.

33.3% of my posts have been me complaining about not scheduling things properly. You'd think I'd do something about that and fix the problem... We'll see what happens.

Weekly Music Interests

So, I've decided I would let you all know what I've been listening to each week. My music interests range from Sunny Day Real Estate to Propaghandi, Norah Jones to August Burns Red, or even Death Cab for Cutie to Justin Bieber. Some of you may find it mundane, others may take an interest and hear about a band they haven't heard of! Who knows!

So, with that said; let's get it started, shall we? My top 5 albums this week are...

As you can see I have linked these albums to their available purchase on the iTunes Store. However, if you wish to download these albums without paying, I most definitely will not provide you with that information. That's illegal, kid! Support the bands you listen to, don't become a pirate, they are so outdated.

Entry One: Quite Mundane...

First entry ever. I can promise you this entry will be nothing less than mundane just due to the sheer fact that my entire day lacks in excitement.

I  have planned three appointments that are contemporaneously occurring today -- idiot. My Apple appointment starts at 2 'o clock, as does a hockey game I am playing, at 2 'o clock, and I've signed up for an online poker tournament that starts at 2 'o clock. At the moment I am trying to decide which is a bigger priority right now. First and foremost, my computer. Meh. I can live with it's psychical impairment. Secondly is hockey; it's something I love to love to watch and am starting to play. We'll get back to this. Last but not least, my poker tournament; I'm skipping it. Hockey it is! Nothing better than spending time with your friends in a extremely physical, remotely competitive, athletic sport. Be looking out for the stories that just may come out of this experience.

Thank you LiveJournal for helping me through this tough decision I was facing. Much appreciated.

And tonight I plan on seeing Hot Tub Time Machine once again. Shit. I think I might have to babysit my 5 year old cousin tonight. I really need to update my iCal...
