Ok, finally settling down to say something about myself. My name is Heather, but I go by Tabby (short for Tabytha) or Strayer online. Most of you probably know me as Tabby. I'm 24 and in Atlanta, where it's nice and hot. I fall into the goth category, but I tend to look at it objectively and stay on the outside. I still dye my hair black and love my boots, though. Don't get me wrong.

I'm odd. I'll admit it right here. I like animals more than I like people, and have furry tendencies. If that makes you uncomfortable, I suggest you read someone else's journal.
I'm in love with electronic music, especially industrial, EBM, synthpop, and the like... I haven't paid attention to the radio or MTV in years, so I probably seem like I'm out of the loop when it comes to that kind of thing. But I don't see it as a loss. Music is my passion. Truly. If I were to lose my hearing, I think my sanity would shortly follow.

I spend a lot of time thinking about things that aren't real. It's just the way I am.

This blog is mostly here for me to post my photos, stay connected with friends, rant about work, and as a reminder of my future self about all the things I've done, and the way I was. I don't know what else to say, really. I'm generally friendly, so don't be afraid to contact me. This journal is halfway friends-only, because I'm not okay with sharing everything with strangers.

Likes: kitties, exploring, morbidity, swimming, toast, walking in the woods, dressing up, zombies, the way animals think, vodka, being warm, strange people, subtitles, powerful coffee, being in places I'm not supposed to be, theropods, taking pictures of bugs, fanfiction, spontaneity

Dislikes: pointless arguments, bad dubbing, authority, tomatoes, math, religion, action movies, people with no imagination, snobs, elitists, being cold, chatspeak, having my picture taken, anything orange, the smell of bleach, when books are made into bad movies, Pearl Jam, Atlanta's radio stations
