Daisy Duke Lemmy

I got to see Scott Ian tonight at the Agora Ballroom in Cleveland.
He said he liked my style and said I was a 'fucking nerd' 'cause he assumed I liked Doctor Who, jokingly of course.
I'm amazed at how nice he is man.
Most fuckin' rad man out there.

Hole

As the classic saying goes,
'Time flies when you're having fun'

The clock chases you on the dot, quickening in pace with every gracious smile and sweet sound.
The clock seems non-existant in this state of blissful ignorance to the world.
But suddently, the clock stops in your mind. You cannot hear the laughing; cannot see the smiling.
Puddles escape from your eyes, and your arms become thick roots.
Drowing, drowning, drowning...
Pools of grey form around the clock, muffling it's inevitable tick from the world.
A laugh is not heard, nor a smile left seen for miles and miles.
A hold forms underneath the clock, swallowing it whole.
Time does fly when you're having fun,
but flies off the handle in the hands of depression.

Welcome to Paradise

Today marks my first official day of having a livejournal.
I guess we can say this is an accomplishment for me.
So, I guess I should say a little about myself, no?

My name is Sabrina and I hail from the burning lake, otherwise known as Cleveland, Ohio. I'm a bit of an art freak, and I absolutely love horror films and psychedelic artwork. On the occasion, I drive out to God knows where and just admire the silence - Cleveland isn't that quiet of a city, so finding a decent sit-in spot is pretty rare.
I love pugs and punk rock, and my ultimate dream in life is to travel around the world in my shag-wagon, seeing everything there is to see about this strange place called Earth.
As you know already, I'm a big fan of horror films and novels, but I also like almost all fiction out there, and maybe even the occasional biography or documentary. My favorite author is Irvine Welsh, in case you'd care to know (I don't believe you did, but might as well tell you anyways).
I love to write, but I seem to never have an outlet to share any of them. So, I joined livejournal to see if I can get some feedback and maybe someone can finally read my lame stories once in a while.

Anyways, thanks for visiting. I might not be posting frequently (school come first, ugh), but I'll be posting as much as I can - even if it's just the average personal post, like this one.

In bocca al lupo

-Sabrina
