Do you have any tips for drawing such dynamic poses and this type of anatomy? As well as how you color, it's just so expressive and pleasing to look at without having too many complicated layers!

hihi! sorry for taking a little while to answer, i was busy finishing up my semester 🧎

thank you sm!! i whipped up some sketches to help explain, but these r my general thought processes when drawing:

for poses, my biggest tip is to learn muscle/bone anatomy- refs and life drawing help massively with that as well as line confidence!

for colours, i usually go for saturated and warm tones and pick colours around my main palette:

if it helps there’s a timelapse of my colouring and the poses alone without notes under the cut :)
