Alright, I managed to get one of my remaining Doctor Who fic ideas finished! It's called "Small Crimes" and it's just a short piece in which Rose and Eleven consider their lives apart since Journey's End. It's not a reunion fic, but it is extremely angsty and the tiniest bit anti-River (no River bashing, though), so if that bothers you I'd advise skipping it.
Seriously, it's been such a long time since I posted and I don't really have any followers here on livejournal. I guess I'm posting this just for the sake of feeling like this blog still has a purpose.
Writing's been a bit slow lately, what with college sucking the life out of my muse. I have recently joined the Dr. Who fandom, and that broke the spell of non-writing for a bit, and may still provide sporadic inspiration for a few small pieces of fanfiction. I've written a total of four pieces for that fandom so far, with two more sort-of in the works. Behind the Scenes and Thirty-Two Degrees to Love have come to temporary grinding halts, due simply to a lack of inspiration. Thirty-Two Degrees to Love is literally waiting on one or two more canon scenes involving Ichigo and Rukia before I can finish it up, so not much I can do there. Behind the Scenes is only stopped because we're getting into the last bit of prompts that are harder to write for. Nine Crimes is also on hold, if only because muselessness sucks.
I may try to write some more for Doctor Who or Bleach sometime this week, but no promises because I really really really need to focus on my school work.
So, I've written a bit in the past few days. Finally added more chapters to Thirty-Two Degrees to Love, although I'm still waiting on a sufficiently Ichiruki scene in the manga to finish it out. Seems like it's going to be a while.
Alright. So, just finished up my last day of school on the nineteenth, and am looking forward to summer as a time to catch up on all the writing I didn't do during the school year.
I've already set myself a good example; I wrote two chapters for Behind the Scenes last night, and whipped out another chapter of Nine Crimes a few minutes ago.
Also, recently started developing a potential Hunger Games fic idea, but it's far from publication at this moment in time. It has promise, but we'll see. I'm not really too sure about it yet. Hopefully with a bit more thought and an actual plot, you will all be treated to some Hunger Games fandom love from me sometime in the next few months. I'm planning for it to be multi-chaptered, but I have no idea how many. I'm just letting my fingers take me whither they desire- so, nothing out of the ordinary, then.
Anyway, just thought I'd post an update for my potentially nonexistent followers.
Alright! The writing is coming along a steady pace for this.
The only thing that sucks is that I've been getting most of my inspiration during school hours, which means I can't write when the fancy hits me. I try to at least jot down the basic ideas when inspiration strikes, so at least I have something, but it's not quite satisfactory.
I feel really optomistic about this story. It makes me really happy.
Eventually I might start posting previews here, but for now I've only got like three scenes written, so there isn't much to share. My partner also needs to start writing her side of the deal a bit more...so far she's only written one scene. Though I can't complain too much---she's providing invaluable inspiration of the visual sort by drawing the characters in various situations.
Anyway, that's what's been occupying my time lately. I feel I've somewhat run out of steam for the 64 prompts that I've been doing, so that'll probably go on hiatus for the time being. Also any other works-in-progress are on hold until further notice (or until a certain fickle muse deigns to supply inspiration for them).
So, my friend drew this girl the other day, and I was inspired to write a little scene about her, so I did. Afterwards, I got this random inspiration for a whole story based off of her, and now my friend and I have decided to work on a collaborative writing project based around it. She draws/writes one of the characters, and I...well, I just write, but it still works! We've only just started, so don't be expecting anything amazing too soon here, but know that I'm working on something that's not fanfiction-related (for once!).
So, you know all that wonderful writing I did about three to four weeks ago? Yeah, shortly after returning to school, my muse made off with all inspiration for a vacation away from the academically focused me. So I've been short on writing time and ability the past few weeks. Sorry all.
I did manage to whip out another chapter of Nine Crimes today, however. I'm hoping to follow that up with something for Behind the Scenes in the near future, but I can't promise anything. I have Academic Decathlon Regionals this weekend, followed by focusing all of February on preparing for a group project in my language arts class...we have to prepare a 3 day presentation for the class teaching a book we've been assigned to read. It's a pretty rigorous assignment, so any time I steal for writing will be taken from there, most likely.

I finally started work on the Eragon fanfiction centering around Galbatorix. I haven't really written anything, but I've been gathering information and outlining important points. I've also made good headway into exploring Galbatorix's psyche, but my success in doing so will be up to you as the reader.
I had a difficult time getting inside Galby's head, since we have so little to go off of from the canon story, but I think I might have managed at least a passable version of the great tyrant.
My original intent was to have the same story covering both Galbatorix's rise to power and his death, but I've decided that the time gap is too great for a single story, and so I'll work on a seperate story dealing with his fall. A sequel, if you will. It will probably pick up from the time when Durza captures Arya until the final scenes in Inheritance.
The tentative titles for these two stories are "The Birth of a Tyrant" and "The Death of a Tyrant". Originally, since it was going to be both in one, the title would have been "The Birth and Death of a Tyrant."
Anyway, not exactly sure when this start showing up on fanfiction.net, but just wanted to update you all on the progression of this idea. I don't know why I've been getting so much inspiration and desire to write during the last legs of my winter break, but so it is. Anyway, catch you later!
Yep. So I just finished rewatching the anime. I have to say, it's still as awesome and amazing as the first time. I cried again during the last episode, even though I knew what was coming.
*sigh*
Code Geass is, and will forever be, one of my absolute favorite animes out there.
