There are many fun reasons to have a character avoid using guns, but I think "this otherwise-awesome fighter is a really terrible shot" is an underappreciated one. In general IMO the more badass and hypercompetent a character is, the more they're enriched by having one skill they're just absolutely hopeless at. I've met my fair share of racists on twitter and pretty much every other social media site but I've never met a site so egotistically white and antiblack like tumblr.

It's not just a hatred of Black people, it's the overwhelming ignorance that comes with it. Antiblack racists on twitter and reddit understand why they hate Black people, our music, our dialects, our cultures and so on, but white tumblr users do not. They not only hate hip hop but they cant name a single Black rapper who was the one who put them off it. They not only steal and mock AAVE but they can't actually explain how AAVE is different to standard American English and why they can't stop using it. They hate Kendrick Lamar but think he's a basketball player. They hate Tinashe's Match My Freak but they don't even know who she is. They accuse every single Black person who ever challenges or disagrees with them a bully, a queerphobe, an ableist, someone who hates minors or whatever, but they can never actually explain what it is we have done that upsets them so much. Because they can't. So they lie. Other social media racists hate us because they know what Blackness is but tumblr white racists hate us because they don't know what Blackness is but have been taught to hate it anyway. And in some ways, that's worse. I bet you most white tumblr users do not have a single Black person in their community offline, as in someone they talk to fairly regularly and have a good relationship with, not just someone they whip out as their token BIPOC for the dashboard. A living breathing Black person. Most of them will have 0. It shows because a lot of them unironically think we use the terms 'BIPOC' and 'POC' to refer to each other. They have 0 understanding of the world outside them outside of white suburbia and white overpriced queer clubs that make them 'radical'.

There is truth in the special snowflake stereotype on tumblr but its not straightforward as a person who is actually offended by everything. It's a middle class white person with left wing sentiments who's effectively learnt how to use social justice terminology to justify any and every action including their antiblackness whilst always painting themselves as the victim and Black people as oppressors.

They hold the systemic power as a white person enacting antiblackness but you can't say that. They're gay! They're asexual! They're aromantic! They're trans! They're autistic! They're got ADHD! They're a minor! They're sex positive! They're kinky! They're a non American extra special white person! They will use anything and everything to justify their hatred of Black people. It is the most unhinged form of antiblackness in the digital age. Antiblackness as marginalised identity.

On tumblr there is this disgusting stench of white entitlement that is almost inescapable. They see Black people merely being on this site as a threat to them but they're too much of cowards to say it directly so they weaponise social justice language to get away with it. They are the pure white ally, the voice of reason, the saviour of the BIPOCy people, because they genuinely believe they're better than us. They announce they're white on every single post about Black people as a form of cleansing, a mini flex. I can't think of a single post I've made about being Black that doesn't have a white tumblr user announcing 'well as a WHITE person I-' or going 'this ALSO happens to-' on it. It also manifests in this queer Madonna-Whore complex on here. That's why there's an intoxicating club of both white queer people mostly white aces positioning Black people as antichrist figures for not thinking the world will end if a Black rapper says 'pussy' on a trap beat whilst also having a club of white kinky queer people on here who think they're the inventors of sex and yell puritan at anyone with basic boundaries who doesn't wanna read their shitty incest fics on ao3. Whatever way its sliced, they believe whatever they do, they're better at it than a Black person.

There's also this inability to handle confrontation unlike white people on twitter. Its the reverse on there because white twitter users love a good old debate and have a habit of wanting to debate everything to death but on tumblr a simple 'miley what's good' has people pissing themselves because they're so not used to ever having to stand on their own principles and self reflect on anything.

And that's why tumblr is not just an antiblack site, but a *white* site. It not only looks down on Blackness of all forms, but it's too cowardly to admit it, too scared to be honest about it and too flaky to even talk about it consistently with any sense of principles or a fucking back bone. Pathetic.

Today, my father's health took another severe turn for the worse as he suffers from,aggressive bladder cancer. The excruciating pain and constant,complications have left him bedridden, and his body is growing weaker by the hour.

He is in desperate need of urgent medical care, specialized treatment, and basic medical supplies that we simply cannot afford. I am terrified of what comes next if we cannot secure his treatment in time.
