  • My works often include topics of substance abuse, I understand that this is an uncomfortable topic, so I always tag it, but if it's something that deeply triggers you I wouldn't reccomend following

it's important to have a lot of cautionary tale blorbos so whenever you think about making bad life decisions yourself you can reminisce about them and go Oh Fuck No

i hope you understand that "chasing thinness" can be legitimately very good for health. Crash diets and weight cycling no, but sustained life changes yes. Fat people shouldnt be obligated to change though

why do you need me to understand this

as someone who's thin as fuck because of disability + food intake disorder bullshit and hates it, i hope everyone understands that chasing fatness can be legitimately good for health

There’s no such thing as work-life balance for neurodivergent & chronically ill people.

This is because everything in my life requires work:

  • maintaining friendships
  • keeping up with my hygiene
  • managing bills
  • making money
  • remembering my basic needs
  • sleeping regularly
  • outputting creatively

All requires some aspect of work for me.

And when everything in your life requires work, your balance goes out the window.

If you're neurodivergent and overwhelmed — I see you.

If you're chronically ill and overwhelmed — I see you.

You're not dysfunctional.

You're not incapable.

You're doing your best.

I WONT LIE FOLKS, THIS WHOLE YEAR HAS BEEN AN EXERCIZE IN STOPPING THE BLEEDING. BUT *CROWD LAUGHS* THAT DOES NOT CLOSE THE WOUND *UPROARIOUS LAUGHTER* NO IT DOES NOT.

the funny thing about being femme is that i have never once in my life been approached by a man despite being by all accounts feminine and at least somewhat conventionally attractive. this is a fairly common femme experience from what i know but i find it interesting because that fact alone immediately indicates a separation of femmes' presentation and straight women's presentation that might not be immediately obvious from description alone

and it is hard to articulate in a way that makes sense to non lesbians because when you Talk about the expression of femininity wrt femme lesbians you can't just be like "uhh yeah its like normal femininity but Different." because no ones gonna know what the fuck youre talking about. even if you say its subverting femininity it hardly makes sense to anyone not already familiar with what that means. but from my own experience it feels like im feminine in a poison dart frog kind of way if that makes any sense at all. my femininity is a warning to men rather than an invitation. the way i put effort into my femininity feels distinctly different than the way straight women do and i think a lot of it comes down to obligation vs enjoyment. i feel the happiest with my presentation when i feel kinda like im doing drag. i have more to say but its really not as poetic and nobody needs to know this in the first place lmfao its just on my mind
