About Us

♥the NAME

You may or may not be familiar with SHINee and their great songs, but if you are you might have observed that Love Like Oxygen sounds peculiar at a certain part of the chorus. Before the last verse of the chorus, they sing this line 잔인한 고통 속에 and it sounds terribly like 'so gay' in the end. The actual Korean word 속에 means, among other related meanings, 'inside'. So our brilliant minds connected the dots and came with 'sogay_inside', which translates perfectly everything this community will be presenting you guys with.


♥the COMMUNITY

SGI came to life to bring you K-pop gay at its finest. We overanalyze, we make fun, we are obviously biased but very open-minded at that. We don't know if we're funny, so you tell us that. Just remember to keep in mind that we are joking (most of the time).

Our main attractions...

Romeanticly Inspired by the geniously made Pink Line, we decided to make a comic based on our favorite bias - SHINee. We aim to uncover the secret lives of the fabulous boys. It's primarily meant for the JongKey fans, but give it a read even if you don't ship them - you'll be guaranteed crack.
It'll be released biweekly according to our plans right now.

Love & Life with Alex & Kevin Our column features the lovable U-Kiss besties. They are the best at personal life advices, and we brought them to the team so you can also get some of their smartest and most pertinent inputs and insights on your hopeless problems.
The idea came to life all thanks to their "All About You" segment on Pops In Seoul (ie. this video).

Just your average 17 year old cracktastic teenager? She loves her idols and pokes fun at them. Loves her Jongkey very much because they are adorable and undeniable to her. Enjoys the gay in the K-pop fandom because it always has her laughing.

Dani aka Siaht Yessenhart {siaht}
She's been a yaoi/slash devotee since her 13's and is now about to turn 22. Absolutely worships everything gay, to the point she's thought about being gay herself. Takes her OTPs scarily seriously until she feels they deserve it. Will stand her opinions to the last consequences. Hates het pairings with a burning passion that impresses even herself. Makes intimidating descriptions of herself but is in truth a very nice person that never argues, always consents.
