Hurricane Katrina has left hundreds of thousands of people homeless. But thousands of people throughout the region are stepping up to offer shelter to those in need. If you have a spare room, an extra bed, or even a decent couch, please consider offering that space to hurricane victims who desperately need a safe place to wait out the storm.

Housing in the Southeast is best. By far the greatest need for housing is within several hundred miles of the affected region. If you live elsewhere, please ask anyone you know in the area to post a housing offer, in addition to posting your own.

Only list your own housing. Please don't offer lodging that's not actually yours to offer!

Offers should be free. All housing offered on this site must be free of charge.

Be smart. We can make no guarantees about the people who contact you. Please use common sense.

Hurricane survivors need work too. If, in addition to housing, you can connect hurricane survivors with temporary work, please note that in your description.

-Moving to Tampa in less than 12 hours.
-The roomate is a doll
-Starting my new job at Carrolwood Chili's in a little over a week
-Missing Jeff terribly

-Oh, and I've already met a bunch of people from my floor via facebook, including this awesome guy Luke from Bandro (www.myspace.com/bandro-CHECK THEM OUT!)
-Already missing my family, especially Christina who I never see anymore because she works so much. I wish we had regained our closeness over the summer but oh well, that's what Christmas break will be for...
-Dane Cook on Sept. 1st
-Coldplay on Sept. 14th
-1 year 6 months with Jeffrey Mark on Septmeber 16th.
-My dorm is clean, nice big and rubber ducky themed!
-I have no idea where anything is on campus
-I'm getting ready to pass out for the last time in my massive queen sized bed and it is good.

College is going to be a great start for me, I hope everyone else is doing as well.

I haven't used this journal seriously since April, and I probably wont continue doing so for a long time.

I went through and deleted all my friends.

If you still want to allow me the privelage of reading about your life, please comment below and I will re-add you.
If you don't comment, or don't want to comment, don't feel obligated to do so.
I know I haven't spoken to alot of you in months, and some I may never speak to again.
So this is your chance to cut the strings. I wont be mad, or sad or upset.
It's just a part of moving on, of growing up.

Plus who needs the internet to make friends anyways? Certainly not me.
