I will be doing approx 4 columns a week and your feed back would be appreciated as I want to represent us all with pride and in a professional manner to the rest of the world and Southern Floridians who love my town.

i am new to miami and looking for some where to meet people and just hang out. does anyone know any 18+ clubs or any where i can just go and chill?

Seriously, if you live in the US and you haven't registered to vote, do so. Your voice can't be heard if you don't exercise your right -- no, your duty -- to get to the polls on November 4th. I hear a lot of people say "Well, you can't trust politicians so I'm not voting." That's a cop-out. Our country was founded on the idea that everyone gets to participate in government. If you don't do your part, that means someone else is making the decisions for you, because they took the time to show up. Much like magic, voting gives us the power to bring about change in things we don't like.

Take a stand. Make your mark. Cast your vote, for whoever and whatever you may believe in.

Presidential Candidates and Faith.

For anyone in Florida, if you haven't registered to vote I have stacks (and I do mean STACKS) of voter registration forms. And if you like Obama (no matter where you live) I have free bumper stickers. Comment if'n you'd like one (limited amount, so first come, first serve. I have GLBT ones as well as the plain).

Hi! You don't know me but I am exactly eight kinds of awesome (oh, my crazy ego). This is a really cool event in Miami led by Atena, who is about twelve kinds of awesome. Really, you need to be there. Kid friendly! There will be music, food, vendors, entertainment and, most importantly, FAIRIES!

If you or anyone you know wants to live in St. Pete, FL for the summer, PLEASE let me know! I need to sublet my AWESOME (and pretty cheap) apartment for the summer! YAY!

 

It's a really big 2 bedroom, 1 bath, it's about 1 minute from he Skyway. It has a washer/dryer hookup in it, and we could leave our washer and dryer in it because we got new ones. Both bedrooms have ENORMOUS walk-in closets too, and we have a cute little balcony. The apartment complex has 4 big pools, tennis courts, beach volleyball courts, a fitness center, a community center, etc. It's pretty much like living in a resort. The rent is $716 (which is pretty good for the size, the amenities, and the fact that it's only a block from the water). The apartment complex requires that everyone has basic cable too, which is $36 and brings the total to $752. We really really like it here, but we just got a house. We have to move into the house May 20th, and our lease doesn't end until September. So, any or all of the months between the end of May, June, July, and August would be awesome!

Lynn University students & alum? SHOULD I GO THERE???? I just got accepted and I keep hearing awful things about it!! I am from upstate new york and if I go my boyfriend is going to hate me forever so if I go it better be worth it!!
