Life is good.
I had an amazing fantastic week last week. So good that I want to remember it. I haven't written on here in forever. My online time is spent now mostly on reading about things that I'm crazy passionate about: food, healing, massage, healing with food and... a little facebook thrown in for good measure.
School is overall going great. It does have its challenges, but how am I ever going to learn/appreciate what I'm learning without challenges? There is this amazing lady in school with me who has become one of my best friends. We study together once to three times a week. She's very into astrology and tarot, so on our study breaks we spend time talking about charts and cards and metaphysics and everything :) I am so blessed to have her in my life. Last Monday she gave me a significant tarot reading. Tuesday after class we went to Stephanie's sister's chiropractic office and we got to practice on her. So, not only did I get my homework done- I even got a free adjustment. Wednesday I had a delicious dinner at Mayan Cafe and went to see a hypnotist at the Improv with my friend Alan. I was up on stage hypnotized. It was a really neat experience. I remember everything, just felt super euphoric/noodle-y afterwards. Friday I finally joined the gym (with Brittany Seals) and after a good treadmill session and time in the sauna we had a good dinner at Maido. Saturday may have been the best day of week. Brandon, Adam, Matthew and I went to Queen of Sheba for dinner then made my new favorite maca butter cups at my house. I then got to practice massaging on Matthew, who's a massage therapist in Lexington, practice on Brandon while Matthew coached me, and then got some crazy good body work/pranic healing done by Matthew on me. It was a week of transformations, learning, and good eating. I couldn't ask for more. The previous Saturday I met a lady at Rainbow Blossom who is a certified health counselor. She talked to me about the program she went to and I know that its on my list of things to do. Massage and bodywork is so exciting for me. But, I know that I won't be happy without doing something involved with food. So in addition to finishing my schooling in massage therapy I also want to add Certified Health Counselor and Raw Food Chef to my resume. With my crazy amazing week I didn't have a chance to food blog, but I'm working on a new blog that is more comprehensive on what I'm interested in, not just vegan recipes. http://www.aura-celeste.com/ There are no entries as of today, but I'm excited to get going on it. Also I just got an email from Josephine about writing on the blog for the public radio partnership up in Bloomington. Wow! Life is good. I'm just trying to affirm the positive- and as I'm spending time on the positive, great things just keep coming my way :)
Today I'm meeting with to study with Kris, the woman from school, getting a cranio-sacral therapy/massage session, and meeting up with Brittany for a Zumba class at the gym. I can't wait for the rest of the week.
