I'm not deleting this journal (yet). I'm still keeping snapdraw_gone for my graphics and fic comms but I'll be using microjoule for my journal and art/photography posts from now on.
Stuff happened over the past few months but nothing I'd really like to blog about in detail or should be blogging about. Lately it's been somewhat difficult to organize my thoughts.
I'm hoping to get into art school this year as all plans of going to law school will not be pushing through anytime soon.
'Kay... I'm off to do other stuff before celebrating my birthday.
Wow, LJ... A lot has changed. I don't quite remember how to navigate my Friends page... (._.)a The 'View Users Only' is confusing me; I think the 'View Journals Only' label for that filter makes better sense.. but that's just me.
Here's a badly-cleaned speed-sketch of G. that I did for kirishimaayama's birthday last month. /notetoself... uploadthistoLJscrapbooklaterforincasetheTumblrlinkexpiressomeday... (._.')
This is a post to let my LJ flist and people watching my LJ blog know that I and my family are doing alright; we haven't felt any earthquakes in our area and I hope it stays that way.
I hope everyone else living in the countries that will be or are already affected by this large-scale disaster will stay safe as well.
Hello, LJ. I've been neglecting you so much lately... (@A@;) But not as much as I neglect my Dreamwidth and DeviantArt accounts. (>_>;)
I've been going back and forth to the hospital for X-rays and MRIs over the past month, but thankfully the doctors have ruled out drastic surgery on both legs. But I am to do exercises prescribed by my physical therapist for rehabilitating my knees. Standing and walking for very long still make my knees hurt but at least the pain is more tolerable now. Earlier I was looking through my planner from last year and found a few anecdotes I scribbled in it from my internship as a teacher aide for a Grade 1 class.
One of my tasks there was to make and check the seat work/test papers of my students... Being the teacher who wrote these tests, I obviously know the answers. However some of these children's answers were just too funny and it was kind of a pity that I had to mark them wrong. (The items were multiple choice questions and the correct answers are actually glaringly obvious...)
Here's some of the most memorable answers to the seat work on the /dr/, /gr-/ and /tr-/ consonant blends:( Collapse )
At present: ... I've got a cold... (;A;) ... I don't want to spend my birthday on Saturday with a cold... |||orz|||
