Hiya, I followed a link here from a community after seeing it a couple times in various random places.

I go absolutely mental when I get mail, of any kind. I took to sending myself junk mail when I was at University, just so I could open my box and be happy.

Yes, I am that weird.

And I love slash that much to the power of infinity, so I'm thinking we'll get along just fine :D

I'm nineteen, and currently live on Vancouver Island, and explaining where I'm actually from is very time consuming, but I promise to go into excruciating detail if you decide to take the plunge of corresponding with me.

I studied Finance, International Law, International Politics, History, etc. etc. etc., and I love a good in depth discussion on such things.

I am a classical liberal (or, as we are now known, a conservative), a scientist, an atheist, and a rabid slasher. <-- this tends to make me somewhat one of a kind.

Howdy! I got here from one of my fandoms and thought this would be an excellent idea! I love getting things in the mail so I'm definitely wanting a snail-mail buddy. Now for the fun stuff, yeah? I'm a 23 yr old chick, living on my own in Dallas, TX. As far as I know, I'm the only one of my friends that (actively looks for)likes slash but I used to have a couple friends who didn't mind it but preferred het.

I'm pretty much convinced this comm is made of win.

I love snail mail, and I tried to rally together some penpals a few years ago... which led to a tragic outcome of five people mailing me who have only heard the word "slash" in their most frightening nightmares.  So, here are a few things about me:

My name is Emily, and I'm 18.  I'm nearing the end of my junior year of high school, but don't let that frighten you.   I outgrew the ways and workings of teenaged immaturity a long time ago.  My mind is never-ending well of perversity, and I've been addicted to slashfic for as long as I can remember.  Slash is not just a hobby, it is a way of life.  At the very least, two hours of my day must be set aside for slashy enjoyment.

I have a tendency to ramble when it comes to anything remotely resembling slash, and I will most likely hit you with a sincerely impressive amount of drabbles if I am left to my own devices. :D  My penmanship leaves much to be desired, but no one has ever had problems reading it, so I'm assuming it's not spectacularly horrible.

What kind of insanity to expect from me:  I write fan fiction on a fairly regular basis (though a lot of it does not leave the safe confines of my hard drive) so, as mentioned above, you will probably get a lot of drabbles/short fics from me.  I will probably also grace you with a fanmix or five.  Character motivations and fangirl manifestos can keep me going for hours, and it is likely that I will chuck many plot bunnies at you, either for your approval or your use.

Hi, I'm a recent college graduate who has just moved from the east coast to the west coast so I don't know anyone in my new town and find myself very lonely. Since the intro-post states that this penpal thing can go long-distance, I'm all for trying that out. While living in Germany and all, born and raised, it's rather hard for me to find people that actually are as freaky as I am, and not many people here are watching that vast number of different series and loving it like I am.
I follow many fandoms, and I say you can never have enough of those. That's *not* to say I don't have a life "outside", but truth be told, it's not as sparkly and not nearly as fun as "life in fandom", you probably know what I mean.
I'm studying languages at the University in Kiel and in my free time I'm a passionate fanfic-reader who also would like to try writing a story herself.... I also draw and play he piano, but that's not important for a penpal-friendship-thingy, is it? o..O

'Lo all. I once did a penpal thing that I found through LJ and it was wonderful. Except, like others, I did not get any fannish people. Sure, learning about people's mental problems and how their job sucks is fun, but it would be so much better to exchange badly drawn doodles and randomly written drabbles. I mean, fandom is something that needs to be squeed about on paper. It is much more fun.

So, about me.

20, female, Georgia, USA. I draw bad doodles and stick figures. I dream crossovers. I have had a habit of mailing strange bits of things to penpals in the past. I also have a strange desire to write postcards.
I am easy to influence- meaning I am easily suckered into new fandoms all the time. Only two days ago did stumble into Merlin, and all because I saw a fetching piece of fanart. But, all this means is that if I do not belong to one of your favorite fandoms, just push me a bit and you will probably be able to get me into it. If you push a bit harder you will be able to sway me into reading your favorite ship first. I really am that easy.

I'm also up to talking about other stuff, besides fandom. I have many intrests. Some people say I am interesting. Others say I am mean and hurtful. And full of hate. All of this is true, but I am never mean with fandom. I am all bubbly and happy and optimistic. It is quite distressing.
I have also been thinking about falling into Torchwood, Life On Mars, The Sentinel, NCIS, and Smallville. I really only need someone to nag me a bit and I will.

So. There you go. I will probably respond enthusiactically to any letter, no matter what fandoms of ships the other person likes.
