My opinion: "But for the Grace" has 13 chapters full of action and a believable plot. And some of you know how hard it is to find a believable plot in multi-chapters stories. But Refur does it wonderfully. And even re-creates Sam in another universe, not a universe without shrimp but a universe without Dean. And I won't say anything more because I don't want to ruin it. But the story is really good and you should take a look.

I had to wait a little bit to rec this one because I'm trying not to rec uncompleted works but now that it's done I hope you all enjoy it!

Two Letters Three Words

My opinion: Another fanfic that makes me all warm and fuzzy! It's... There's Mary as a loving mother and John as a doting father, there's cute little Dean before his "no chick-flick moment" policy, there's wee!Sam, teen!Sam, Present Time!Sam. It's nice to watch past and present together and see the changes and the things that stayed the same. Tru_faith_lost has a nice Mary voice, very believable and charming. The writing is really good and... You're still here? What for? Go and check it out!

 

I'll try and update tomorrow too, since Saturday, Sunday and Monday will be a little crazy for me. I won't be near a computer and I got this huge test thingy.

My opinion: You might have guessed it, but in case you didn't I'm a Limp!Sam kind of girl and Protective!Dean is always a plus. Kyriebess provides us with both! This has 12 chapters of consistent good writing, it's complete and judging by the numbers of reviews, I'm not the only one who thinks it's great! Kyriebess also makes up this elaborate hunt, proving to be possible for a fan to write something with a hunt that makes sense. And you may notice the Limp!Impala tag (I don't think I ever saw anyone using that before) but I'm not spoiling the fanfic, go read it to find out!

I'm really sorry for the long hiatus that happened... It's just I've been kind of picky with Supernatural fanfics... There are a couple I would love to rec but they are WIP so I'm waiting for them to be completed. And I'm going through those first pages of ff.net so I should be able to come up with something more soon...

Meanwhile, have you guys seen a couple of userpics with Sam and Dean drawned like cartoons?? They're so cute! I want them for X-mas...

Just one more thing and I'll leave you alone to read this fic. I saw a Hot Wheels car! It was a black '64 Chevy Impala and the only two things that stopped me from buying a car that I'll never play with were the facts that the year was wrong and that I had no money on me.

These Walls Won't Hold 

My opinion: This goes in the same direction the show is going. Both in the sense of what Sam can become and what Jo can possibly be to Dean. And while I don't like (AT ALL) those possibilities, I love how WhinchesterHaunt deals with them. She follows what Sam said about himself and the others like him in "Simon Said", and there's a feeling of inevitability by the end of the fic that surely gave me a "sinking feeling". She's a good and promising author, and getting better at it every fic she writes.

I apologize for not updating for two whole days and I'm sorry to say that it's probably going to get worse by the end of the year. I'm trying to get into a college. In nicer news, this comm has now 2 other members besides me!

My opinion: I always wondered what made Sam snap and leave, even when his father told him he couldn't come back. And hiyacynth gives out a plausible answer why Sam resented his father. Jim is wonderfully portrayed too, I can see him like that, providing comfort and advice. There's a lot I can comment on this particular piece, but I won't because I'm trying really hard not to be spoilery and all, but if you want to talk fanfics you guys can add me in my msn(I think my e-mail is in the profile). Anyway, after I read this today I had to rec it!
