Small Games With Depth

I greatly enjoy playing and creating micro, tiny, and small games.

Specifically, I really like games that are:

• Enjoyable to play
• Easy to "pick up and start playing"
• Provide simple game mechanics
• Layer on depth through simple systems
• Are presented in a very simplistic, minimalist way

Games that have a graphics style that would cause them to fit right in with the rest of the games back on the Intellivision, VIC-20 or Odyssey 2.

Extremely low resolutions and limited color palettes of those late 70s to early 80s games along with very simple sound fx and chip tunes as well.

However, I also wish the games themselves were expanded in depth with layered simple systems, interaction and so forth.

And that's what I intend to explore over time as I create games and make them freely playable here.
