Sparkling Stars (World War II-Era Slavefic)

Hi, guys! I know this community is pretty quiet, but that's true of most LJ comms these days, so I figured what the heck? If I can pick up at least a few new readers, why not?

After a long hiatus from slavefic I recently was inspired by binge-watching an old favorite, McHale's Navy (the TV show, not the movie) to write slavefic again. The premise of this AU is that the crew of the PT-73 possess their own sex slave, as do many fighting units during World War II. It's a challenge to balance the slaves being crew and being in combat and also serving as slaves. Reasons for this modern (1940s) form of slavery are given in the first installment.

I'm using the character of Virgil Edwards (Gunner's Mate) as the slave. I think I was inspired by him going shirtless in nearly every episode of Season 1! ;) He was played by Edson Stroll (who also guest-starred on two memorable episodes of The Twilight Zone). Fic search: Burned slave?

Hello everyone! I'm looking for a fic I've read about 10 years ago which just resurfaced in my brain! This is probably a long shot since so much time has passed, but I figured this community would be the best place to try to find it!

A new physician just moved to a city because the old physician died in a house fire. When he went to look around the burned house, he found a slave who was close to death, suffering from massive burns. Since he was the physician, he spent a lot of effort healing this slave, which became his personal slave. The slave initially was extremely afraid of this new physician because of how he was treated by his old master. But he slowly got better because he was treated with kindness. Part of the reason was that the new physician never interacted with slaves either due to laws where he was from or family beliefs.

There was a specific scene where the slave thought it was really strange that his new master asked to be referred to by his shortened name, making it sounding more slave-like. (the master didn't know this, because he wasn't from the area/country)

It's a long shot, I know, but does anyone have access to Rehabilitation (Jon/Spencer, modern day slave!fic) by sekkritbandlj? The journal is now deleted and purged (sigh). The story was announced on anon-lovefest, a bandom anonymous porn meme, on 17 Jan 2010, but not posted there, dammit.

The prompt: Modern day slave!fic where bb!Spencer has spent most of his life either locked in a cage or in his owner's bed. When police raid his owner's house, the young intern Jon finds Spencer locked in his cage in a dark closet. Spencer is so frightened and confused that he's convinced it's all just a dream. Jon is afraid he'll never get Spencer to understand that he's free.

Looking for a fic

I'm looking for fiction that features a slave who needs to pass an obedience test, probably because he is on his last chance and will be put down or sent to hard labour if he doesn't conform. There is a story I hope to find but I'm keen to read anything with slave obedience exams.

The story I'm trying to find: slash, a kind master with, several slaves gets a new one who undergoes the exam, which is a regular exam every five years. The master reluctantly trains the slave and tries to gain his trust. At the end the slave has to pick up and hold an item that hurts, but I think it does not damage him. No idea of the fandom at all! (It <i>might</i> be RPS or Bandom, but I have no trust in this vague recollection.)
