Skandar Amin Casper Keynes was born on September 5, 1991 in London, England. He attended the Anna Scher theatre school between from 2000 to 2005, and his first professional acting role was as the younger Enzo Ferrari in Ferrari (2003). He can now be seen playing the role of Edmund Pevensie in the film adaptation of C.S. Lewis' The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe (2005). He was the last of the Pevensie children to be cast. Unlike the others who had all endured an 18 month long casting process, Skandar was cast within just a couple of weeks. After he had been spotted, he attended three or so auditions in the space of a week before landing the part. He has now done LWW's sequel Prince Caspian and is set to be in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, released in 2010. | ||
