StatLab 2025 to 2026 members team meeting at Blueberry Hill in St. Louis

OPENING FOR 2026/2027 School year on September 1, 2026

StatLab is a peer tutoring resource founded in 2015 by Brown School faculty members Kim Johnson, MPH, PhD, and Jenine Harris, PhD. Now housed in the School of Public Health (SPH) and co-led by Kim Johnson and Joe Steensma, MPH, MA, EdD, StatLab continues to support students in both the Brown School and the SPH.

Originally established to provide high-quality statistical and methodological support, StatLab has expanded its offerings to include StatBytes workshops on statistical techniques. Peer instructors assist with quantitative coursework and research projects, including basic statistics, epidemiological methods, statistical software, identifying data sources, and conducting data analyses.
