Sports Center just showed the last seconds of UConn's buzzerbeater win over Clemson in the 1990 Sweet 16. That may have been one of the most exciting moments of my childhood.

I really resent the way people talk about women's basketball. The fact is, many fans around the country find it extremely exciting, especially fans that want to watch good plays well executed. I'm tired of having to explain away being excited by it, making ashamed comments about Connecticut and how we are weird, or don't have anything else. WOMEN'S BASKETBALL IS EXCITING, damnit, and most of the negative things said about it are just plain sexist.
