My Computer Hates Me... And So Does My Brain
So, I had to reinstall my OS twice today, only to find out that my back ups failed and I lost everything!
I've spent the last few hours chasing down what little of my work is available on the internet, and it has sucked.
I really need to give up and store everything in one place from now on >.<
In other news:
~I have a new fan-fiction idea (like I needed one of those) for an alternate time-line "Final Fantasy VII" fic! It's called "chaos THEORY" and will feature Cloud and Vincent.
PS: Writing as a seven-year old is rediculous >.<
~I'm working on one of the prompts for my writer's challenge! It's called "Phone Tag"!
~I created a new character last night and his name is Cypus.
~I stepped on an old nail. I'm waiting for signs of tetnus...
~I spray painted puzzle pieces today.
~I have surprisingly remembered my passwords for facebook, livejournal, dA, fanfiction.net, and fictionpress.com, but I do not remember my password for youtube.
~I'm working on a birthday gift for dA's VVKiti... I only have like four more days, so I hope I get it done in time >.<

Shallow Grave...
This actually generated a fan-fiction idea...
My older brother and I were talking about the fridge-logic for Final Fantasy VII. They use materia for everything, so we figured that the Turks have to have Shallow Grave materia.
We also decided it was a summon materia...
Shallow Grave materia for summoning: It's very rare and it's not incredibly useful, but it does dig a gave quickly! Every Turk carries it...
Yeah, none of you want to know how hard I giggled after reaching that conclusion.
And everyone knows happy little fangirls write fan-fictions!
[A Little More Information on the Fan-fiction!]It promises to be a multi-chapter fic, told from Tseng's perspective. It's a spoof fic with no pairings at all... It just tells the story of the Shallow Grave Materia, with a lot of humor and a lot of pain/punishment for one particular Turk...

New Ideas and Old Commitments...
(Of course, I fully intend to write it myself. I just want to share~ )
So far, I want to call it "Matchmaker, Matchmaker".
I was greatly inspired by this story called "Vanilla" [by Sorceress Fantasia] on ff.net. On the surface, the plot will sound really similar, but it will be very different, I promise!
Aditional inspiration came from another fan-fiction called "Suburbia" [by Falaphesian], Supernatural (created by Eric Kripke), a handful of songs so far ("Use Somebody" - Kings of Leon; "Big Girls Don't Cry" - Fergie; "Demons" - Imagine Dragons; "Titanium" - David Guetta feat. Sia; "Everybody Talks" - Neon Tress), and a 1999 novel called "A Ghost For Maggie" by Emily Charmichael.
Anyway! I wanted to try a new pairing --one I'd never written before-- and none of my in-progress works would let me do that (well, one of them might, but only if I make it part of a set >.<).
What pairing, you ask?
Cloud Strife and Vincent Valentine.
I know I've never attempted anything like this before... and it is intimidating, but I really want to take a shot at it.

Summary: Reno has certainly had it rough: celibate for three months, dragged to BDSM clubs on a nightly basis, and dealing with a bitchy blond. But one night with a hell of a lot of alcohol has made it much, much worse. As soon as he finds his phone, he's gonna let Elena have it!
Additional ANs: I have modified Elena and Reno's relationship: she's pretty much his best friend. However, I have tried to stay as true to the characters as possible.
I've also made him rather close with Reeve, as well. It amuses me to do so, plus, this is AU, so I totally can ^^
And! There is no sex scene in this piece! By the time I got to the point I would need to write it, I didn't have enough time. So all of the sex is implied, although there are a few tasty tidbits :P( Read "Hungover"...Collapse )
