Nicholas John Collison (born October 26, 1980) is a retired basketball player for the Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association. His jersey number (#4) is the only one the team has retired since relocating to Oklahoma City.[1] He is nicknamed "Mr. Thunder" for his loyalty to the team.
During college, he played for the Kansas Jayhawks, who also retired his jersey number.
He was selected 12th overall in the 2003 NBA Draft by the Seattle Supersonics, which relocated to Oklahoma City in 2008 and changed their name to the Thunder.
While he never won a NBA championship as a player, he won one as an executive of the Thunder when they won their first championship in the 2024-25 season.
