Mangang (Meitei: ꯃꯉꯥꯡ), also known as Ningthouja (Meitei: ꯅꯤꯡꯊꯧꯖꯥ) is one of the seven main clans (Yek Salai) of the Meitei people in Manipur, a state in Northeast India.[1][2] The Mangang clan includes many family names (Yumnaks) that come from the old kingdom of Kangleipak (now called Manipur).[3][4] They subjugated other clans into the Meitei fold (Meitei confederacy).
