Avanade was founded in 2000 by Accenture and Microsoft.[2] The company focuses on services such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation.[3]

In 2019, Pamela Maynard became CEO.[4] In 2020, Avanade joined the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association, a group focused on cybersecurity.[5] In 2022, the company announced a new engineering center in Tampa, Florida.[6] In 2024, Rodrigo Caserta became CEO.[7] In 2026, Chris Howarth was appointed as CEO.[8]

Operations
