Cost of gas: $80.00 (estimate per tank)
Insurance: $250.00 per month
Tires: $400.00-500.00 Replaced as needed.

My Time: Variable depending on my mood and when you ask.
Bottom line is IT STILL COSTS MONEY TO DRIVE A CAR even beyond gas prices.

Must Read, Rules of the Road
So I got a car, and there are going to be a few rules and regulations of it.
1) You ask me for a ride, you are expected to pay for gas, up front. No Credit, No change carried.
2) Just because I'm going somewhere, doesn't mean that you get a free ride if Rule 1 is applicable.
3) My car, MY Rules, if you don't like them, you don't have to ride.
4) I'm driving, it's on my schedule for departures and pick ups, I will wait no more than 5 minutes from the time I get there for someone, within justifiable reason on my part, meaning it's by my logic. If something happens and I'm late, it'll be 5 minutes from when I was supposed to pick you up, if I'm early I'll give five minutes from arranged time.
5) In order to be eligible to get a ride you must comment to this journal that you have read through my rulings and agree to the terms and rules that I have set out today and understand that they can change as I see fit.
6) NO EATING in the vehicle, period, I won't do it, you can't do it.
7) Assuming that because I am picking up person (A) and you happen to be where they are getting picked up, does NOT exempt you from having to ask for a ride or having to pay for the ride.
8) I'm the driver, you do NOT touch the console where the stereo and heater are unless -I- ask you to.
9) I'm the driver, meaning I am driving so I will need to be able to drive safely, do not do things that will distract me from what I am doing if you want to get there safely.
10) Shotgun rule is as follows, within vision of the car you can call shotgun, first person to do such gets it.
11) Do not critique my driving if you ever want to drive with me further.
12) The people that it will concern know that I can be touchy when it comes to my car, so the suggestion is not to piss me off.
13) It seemed like a good idea at the time.
14) I reserve the right to refuse rides to anyone at anytime for whatever reason comes through my head.
15) I will not always be driving everywhere, gas isn't cheap, the bus is cheap.
16) Rules and regulations subject to change at MY will and as I see the need to change them.
17) NO GARBAGE IS TO BE LEFT IN MY CAR. You are responsible for removing your trash from my car.
18) I have right to VETO Shotgun!
