Can someone do a test and see if this is just me? I like to look on Twitter for stuff going on at SPN conventions, which means I search for a tag and then look at Latest Tweets. Except... Latest Tweets doesn't seem to work anymore?
For instance, if you look at the tag #spnchi, you'll find people gearing up for the con in Chicago this weekend. Whenever you search for a hashtag, or click on one, it will take you to the Top Tweets for that topic. Then you used to be able to click on Latest Tweets to see what's happening right now. So if you search for #spnchi, you'll see some Top Tweets, but when you click on Latest Tweets, it says there are no results.
I also searched for #OurFlagMeansDeath, and got the same thing. You can see Top Tweets but when you look for Latest Tweets, there are no results. Then I searched for Covid, and it comes up with the Top Tweets, but when you click on Latest Tweets, there ARE Covid tweets. However, those were only tweets that MENTION Covid, not tweets with the tag Covid. I saw a tag, #covidisnotover, which I clicked on, and it showed me Top Tweets, but when I clicked for Latest Tweets, it said there were no results.
So it works for searches (kind of), but not other times?? You can't find tags anymore by Latest? I have no idea what's going on and it's really pissing me off! What is the point of tags if you can't see what's going on in them recently? The whole point of Twitter is to see what the chatter is RIGHT NOW.
How am I supposed to follow what's happening at a con when all I'm going to see are the few photographers who get enough likes to end up at the Top? ARRRRRRGH.
Is this just me? Is there some setting I'm missing? I tried it on mobile and on desktop (both signed in and signed out, in different browsers) and it's all the same. (To be clear, I'm not talking about my Twitter timeline, or Home vs. Latest, I'm talking about not being able to see what's going on right now when you search for a hashtag.)
ETA: it seems to have resolved itself?

Date: 6 June 2022 10:09 am (UTC)It's definitely not a message sending limit because I've send... one other message in the last 24 hours. It doesn't even contain a link.
I hate that website, but I don't see any other ways to contact them. *sigh*
I've also had problems with latest tweets or searching for tags now and then. Like, I click a tag and it shows me some results but then just stops when I know that there are many more tweets with that tag. But sometimes, it works fine.

Date: 6 June 2022 09:40 pm (UTC)ALSO annoying is the way it 'autocorrects'. Like I was searching for the SPN tag #purcon, and it searched for something entirely different, because it assumed #purcon was a misspelling. Which seems odd for tags, because so many of them aren't words at all! Why would you autocorrect that? So then I had to tell it that no, I actually really did mean #purcon.

That site is really... funcitioning worse than tumblr. It also takes forever to show me if I've got a message, it's easier to just click on it instead of waiting for the notification...
