Another elliptical trip on this pea we like to call Dirt...

I'm still alive, just so the people who have me on their watchlists can relax a bit.

Nothing much going on, no job, no life.

This was your periodical infobeep from the Rat in Finland.

I don't quite remember which of his novels was the first one I read, but I always found his wit charming and his writing engaging. And I will remember how human he made Death appear.

I will miss the anticipation of new Discworld novels, but I will probably never stop rereading the ones already written. And I have a feeling there's another new resident permanently staying in Death's Domain, having a well earned rest.

And I hope you'll be around for few more, but that's because I'm a bit selfish and like having you around. *hugs*😄

Well, I hope I'll have a terrific birthday. If not, I'll demand my money back.

And kudos to Douglas Adams for the title of this post.

PS2. Awaiting confirmation on wonderful birthday present I got wind of on Friday. I am now signing the contract short of being at least temporarily employed.

Had left my beard to creep around during the winter months, and am now a bit puzzled on what to do with it.

Shave it all off? Cut it into burnside-style as the profile picture is? Just moustache/chin beard? Or around-the-mouth? Just sideburns?

The worst thing is, it's not evenly long, or shaded, going all the way from dark brown to very light gray.

I suspect it was via MSN Messenger, but my Hotmail account used mostly for that ended up spewing a message to my whole contact list without subject-line and with a link to some UK website I don't recognize ever using.

If you got that, don't open, it is NOT from me.
