random fandom updates - mainly for me to keep track

I think i live a pretty stable life compared to most, but even so, few things in life stays constant.  one of the few that has though, is my geekdom in Red vs. Blue, which has been pretty consistent in my life every spring since grade 10. (aah, grade 10 programming.. i kinda miss that class)  Except, the ending was pretty solid last year, and it was pretty much guaranteed that it was over. except it's not. lol because, if you've watched it, there's so much they didn't wrap up.  Also, they just hired the guy that did dead fantasy and haloid for the last season (and it was awesome), so there's no way they wouldn't do more story just to squeeze him dry.  In honour of the announcement and trailer release of Red vs. Blue season 9, i'm rewatching the whole fucking series, replayed through reach, and swearing a bit more often than usual. I feel a little bit like me again, since i've done nothing but school work for the past 2 months. I'm almost done though, and tempted to get an unhack'd 360 just so i can play grifball.
i'm not going to bother linking the trailer, just because it'll mean nothing to any who hasn't seen the series, and if you follow the series, you've probably seen the trailer already.

joey maker - this boy is my study music atm. usually, i never listen to music i understand while i study, but i'm somewhat in love.

Crossfaith new album comes out Apr. 20. FINAL-FUCKING-LY

Kaoru's confirmed Dir's resumed recording, and all the songs are picked for the album.

BB's new MV is absolutely gorgeous.

portal 2 coming out April 19 - gaaah how do i ppllaaayyyyy!?!?! ;A;

this picture makes me giddy xD though he's not david tennant, he's a pretty damn good doctor.

currently reading B.P.M. by Paul Sizer and loving it, even though it's normally not my favourite style of illustration. still, his use of typo in comic style illustrations is quite flawless. plus, the guy did a quick illust of me way back when I was active in the white chapel community (forum based on warren ellis' Freak Angels), and i loove it =]

NM vol. 3 is probably happening in october 15 (Rivoli) and 16 (Velvet Underground, probably). The guy that runs it is a Japanese Canadian doctor who takes about 30k out of his own pocket every year that he KNOWS isn't coming back to him, just to bring some sick indie bands over here. So I've offered to help in any way I can, though there really isn't much I'll be able to contribute other than like.. make posters and flyers. but hey, gotta do what I can, right?
