Silent Hill icons and graphics.
The original and the best Silent Hill icons community at LiveJournal.
This community is devoted to the creation and sharing of icons (both LJ and Buddy icons) with a Silent Hill theme.
* When posting please indicate in your entry whether your icons are:
- for display purposes only.
- created as a special request.
- free for taking/anyone can use them.
* If you take an icon, please comment that you have done so, and don't forget to credit the creator if do you decide to
use their icon on your journal. An effective way of crediting is in the icon keywords, or even on your userinfo page will do.
All Silent Hill fans are welcome here, so please join and enjoy!
Just A Friendly Heads Up:
Members: please don't forget that any and all icons (this includes any teaser icons as well) that relate to the Silent Hill comics as well as Silent Hill Origins and Silent Hill Homecoming must be put behind an LJ-cut and clearly marked with a SPOILER warning until further notice. Failure to use an LJ-cut and a spoiler warning can and will see your post deleted. Many thanks for your understanding and your cooperation.

= In future any posts containing icons etc, that aren't related to Silent Hill will be deleted.
= Any posts containing 'secret links' or 'fake cuts' (in the form of text, banner, username, LJ-cut tag etc) will also be deleted. If you need clarification with regards to this, please check with a moderator.
= Strictly no advertising of any other communities (or even personal icon, art or graphic journals) will be permitted within this community ... any such posts will be deleted so don't do it.

Our Community Guidelines:
01. If you take an icon, please comment that you have done so, and maybe indicate where you'll be using the icon.
02. Always give credit to the icon creator. Either in the icon keywords, or somewhere on your userinfo page.
03. Strictly no editing of any icons ... unless they are bases and you have the base creator's permission to edit the icon.
04. Requests for icons will be accepted. Please check with the individual icon creators for more details.
05. Please be patient if you have requested an icon. Sometimes they can take a little longer than expected to create.
06. When posting more than four icons to the community please put them behind an LJ-cut.
07. If you are planning on using any of the icons posted to this community on sites other than LiveJournal please have the decency to let the creator of the icons that you have taken know that you intend to use their icons elsewhere. If the creator objects to their icon being used elsewhere, please do not take them and use them elsewhere. If they give you permission to use their icons on other sites, please remember to fully credit them for the icons.
08. NO STEALING! If you want to use any of the icons posted to this community, ask permission from the icon creator by leaving them a comment. If you don't ask and you just take, you're an icon thief and icon thieves are not welcome here.
09. NO FAKE LJ-CUTS OR SECRET LINKS! Any posts containing 'secret links' or 'fake LJ-cuts' (in the form of text, banner, username, LJ-cut tag etc) will be deleted. Please post whatever icons or graphics you wish to share with the members of this community directly to this community. If you persist in posting entries with 'secret links' or 'fake LJ-cuts' you run the risk of being removed and banned from this community. If you have any questions regarding this, contact the moderators.
10. If you are going to be posting any icons to this community that have been created from fan art that you yourself are not the artist of, then you must have permission from the artist (or artists) in question to use their works of fan art in the first place, otherwise what you are doing is considered to be stealing. The artist (or artists) in question must also be credited for the icon since you are in fact using their fan art as the basis to create your icon. Should you need this to be clarified further, please feel free to speak with the maintainer or even one of the moderators.
11. Not a guideline, not a rule, just a very simple little request ... we don't go over to your community and post entries with links back to this community so please do not come over to this community and post entries with links back to your community. Once again, should you have any questions or concerns about this or any of the other community guidelines then please do not hesitate to contact the maintainer or one of the moderators.
