It seems like years, when told I cried.
The night I heard Sid Vicious died.
Born in nineteen fifty seven, fun and young a punk in heaven.
The years that stopped at twenty one were full and loud,
a crazy song of drugs and sex and frenzied shows with laughter,
tears, the highs and lows.
Spiked and black, wild forest hair, you walked they stopped and turned to stare.
Gentle giant the friend of we who copy those we'll never be.
Eyes of youth that stare you cold from photos yellow, torn and old.
That look, that smile, he stole my life, and married death a greedy wife.
She robbed your soul denied our dream.
She haunts me now I wake and scream.
Body drenched by cold sweat, I miss the man I never met.

This community is for fans of the Sex Pistols. But there is more to it than that...this is also a place for people to stop and think...to think about Sid and Nancy. Not just about what really happened on that early morning in 1978, but to also recall what an impact they had on the scene, what a bad rap they had from the press, and to come and tell what they mean to you.

Please also note that this community is not dedicated to the movie "Sid and Nancy". It is for all fans of Sid Vicious, Nancy Spungen or the Sex Pistols. But please feel free to discuss this movie, or any other Pistol-related movie here if you wish, as we are aware many art forms, such as movies, books and such have been made because of Sid, Nancy, and The Sex Pistols, and we are fucking proud of it !!!

Nancy

You were my little baby girl
And I knew all your fears
Such joy to hold you in my arms
And kiss away your tears
But now you're gone
There's only pain
And nothing I can do
And I don't want to live this life
If I can't live for you.
To my beautiful baby girl
Our love will never die.
