WHUMP!
Okay so I've got an itch that can't seem to be scratched. My favorite characters from SG-1 and SGA are Lt. Colonel Cameron Mitchell and Lt. Colonel John Sheppard, with Sheppard being my absolute favorite. I've been compiling a list of fanfics to read that fit within a certain criteria (i.e. no shipping, Cam or John-centric, plenty of whump, etc.). I've found plenty of SGA fics that meet these standards; however, I can't seem to find very many GOOD Mitchell-centric fics that do the same. All of them either have shipping in them (I'm not for the mushy stuff that tends to be involved, especially if he's being shipped with a team member) or there isn't any whump in it whatsoever, or they are just poorly written. I find it extremely odd that there is a plethora of Sheppard, O'Neill, and even Daniel fanfics and yet ones with Mitchell are few and far between. If ANYONE can recommend some fics that can help me relieve this little "itch" I have then I would be very grateful.
Oh, and I'm always on the look out for great SGA fics too. As stated above, I prefer there be no "shipping," that the fics be John-centric or team-centric, and that there be lots o' whump.
