I pass by people, grazing them on the edges, and it bothers me. I’ve got to admire someone to like them deeply - to value them as friends. -Sylvia Plath
This journal is friends only, as I am no longer active in any fandoms and it is completely a personal journal. Comment if you think we have something in common or you've seen me somewhere and would like to be friends.

Posters are currently framed, because I'm neurotic, but I'll take them out and send in a cardboard tube for shipping (because I do want my frames anyway).
If you see something you're interested in, make an offer or I can suggest a price. I need and want to get rid of all this stuff! (Buyer pays shipping, obviously.)
If this is the first post you've seen from me in a while (my last was May 20th, check recents if need be), then I have unfriended you.
No, I didn't announce a friend cut. You can assume you were unsupportive (to put it nicely) in my time of need. The ones who were and I felt I still had some modicum of respect for or trust with (whichever preposition) stayed.
If you cared anything about me or me unfriending you, you would have obviously noticed it before now and done something about it.
As several of you know (well, mainly those of you with whom I converse on Twitter), I am editing/beta-ing stories for someone on fanfiction.net. Allegedly, she was once an English teacher, but her command of the English language is...a bit stunted. Periods where commas should be (and vice versa); incorrect use of parentheses, quotation marks, and ellipses; and absolutely no idea how to properly conduct dialogue within a story.
I have been in absolute agony and have looked much like Stitch for the week I've been editing these stories. So, I figured the world (or my immediate circle of friends) was in need of a crash course--wit, sarcasm, years of general knowledge, and Eats, Shoots and Leaves in hand.
I hope that was informative. Please use your grammar, punctuation, and English wisely--and correctly. Come back next time and we'll diagram sentences!
And this was the example, for ignitedsoul on Twitter illustrating the difference between a comma and a semi-colon, and which started this whole mess: "His body lay lifeless on the floor, where she had beaned him with the blender. It wasn't the first time; their kitchen was full of small appliances."
I'm not sure how many of you are familiar with the The Reduced Shakespeare Company, but I was bored and recently and re-watched it. It was perfect, as always, and I decided I needed some icons. (There are some VERY lovely ones here, by spacemonkymafia.)
You kind of have to see it to believe it (or understand these icons), so I highly recommend you do so!
I just watched the BBC/Illuminations/RSC Hamlet. It was...pretty damn good.
But, it did not pass the test. If a production of Hamlet is truly, incredibly exceptional, I will cry. Somehow, the death of Tennant Hamlet did not make me cry. Only one has done that and I love them for it.
