The Centre for Protection Against Sexual Harassment and Abuse (CPSHA) is a dedicated unit at Bangladesh Agricultural University committed to upholding a safe, respectful, just educational and working environment for all stakeholders (i.e., students, staff, faculty members) of the university. BAU acknowledges the Honorable High Court Division directives issued on May 14, 2009 to prevent sexual harassment and implement related measures in educational institutions, including universities and affiliated colleges. In this regard, CPSHA operates as an independent body for overseeing complaints related to sexual harassment, bullying and abuse. CPSHA ensures that all complaints related to sexual harassment and abuse are addressed effectively, adhering to the university's policies, guidelines, and legal framework. CPSHA conducts each inquiry with utmost impartiality and professional integrity, maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality, safeguarding the identities and rights of complaints, alleged, witness, and others involved throughout the whole process.
