I bought this really cute hoodie today. It was $38 but it was buy one get another for a doller, so I gave in. Actually it's pretty common as far as hoodies go, but it's the first one I've bought, so I'm happy with it. And the other one. Which is red.
^_^
Also I'm off the waiting list for Japanese at PSU!
Mom and I went shopping today. Meaning I stayed up all night again (I have officially swung over to the graveyard shift, as per usual during the summer) and went to work with mom, so she didn't have to come home and get me. I didn't buy much, but it was fun. We only got home about 30 minutes ago, and I have to say, I'm surprised dad and Peter didn't kill each other.
We (Daniel, Crystina, and me) went to the Lloyd Center with the Japanese student, and that was fun. He likes a lot of the same anime and music I do so it was pretty easy to talk to him after a while.
But then I got home and found out that dad sprayed the house for fleas, and moved around all of our stuff. All the junk in my room that was previously on the floor (and I have a LOT of junk) is now on my bed. I'll probably sleep on the floor tonight.
On the good side, I bought a new pair of earings and Fruits Basket Volume 11.
Volume 11 is depressing. Akito comes to the summer home where Tohru and the Juunishi are staying, and talks to them one by one. He brings up while talking to Kyo how Kyo's mother committed suicide because she couldn't stand to have him as her son. And Kyo keeps remembering his father telling him that it was his fault: that he killed his mother. That is NOT something you tell your five year old son. Needless to say, Kyo was crying by the end of the scene, I think that's the second time he's cried in all 11 volumes.
Then Akito wants to talk to Tohru, but Momiji tries to protect her by telling him she's asleep. Akito hits him and tells him to wake her up. Tohru had been taking a walk, and stopped Akito from hurting Momiji further. Momiji runs off to tell Hatori and Shigure what Akito is doing. Akito then tells Tohru about the bet Kyo made with him: if he can beat Yuki, he won't be locked up from after graduation to the day he dies. Tohru decides after he leaves that she wants to break the curse. She doesn't care what it will cost her, if she can provide these people with the freedom they want, it's worth it.
