And to answer, I build the background of my criminal cases on bits of lore and headcanons I like that circle the fandom, and one of the ideas I’ve seen and liked is that yes, Kamski returns as a CEO of Cyberlife as a result of the revolution.
I think it originates in canon? Isn’t this implied in the secret ending where everyone dies? Might be making it up xD
As to his reasons for it - who knows! It might be because he actually planned it all, the current CEO definitely got forced to resign after all this fiasco with the revolution. Maybe he just sniffs out an opportunity to keep the company making shitton of money if he ensures it switches its purpose. Maybe he’s a megalomaniac who likes to be praised as a genius god, and distributing parts and blue blood to his ‘children’ for money gets him off.
He’s there in the background, influencing the living world, but might not be part of the investigations personally. We’ll see where inspiration takes me :D
