It's finally ready to be sent!!! It took me long enough   *looks guilty*

I've had to ask Mum to post it since i'm working tomorrow. But hopefully it will be arriving on your doorstep soon-ish.

I see that you posted to your regular journal on the 24th, so you have been online. Since I never received a response on sending out this weekend, I am assuming you lost interest, which is fine, no big deal. I am going to fill in this spot with another journal going around locally and not track this community anymore..... Take care!

I need to delay journal sending until weekend after Thanksgiving, if that is ok. That gives me another week to prepare, I will be heading to Indiana right after work Friday the 17th, won't be back until Monday 20th, don't have time to get to PO during week, had extra expenses on this week's check with a child needing wisdom teeth cut out (ugh) and same child at musical symposium that required new suit and shoes (size 12 1/2 wide, which is NOT fun to shop OR pay for), bills, bills, bills due.

In every way, the next week would be better for me. If you want to go ahead and send, that's fine, I can guarantee mine will go out the next week. I wasn't thinking about the fact that I will be out of town this weekend, and then all that other crap came up.

If this isn't ok, I can attempt to get it out on Monday.

Just curious

Did you sign up for any of the traveling journals that are posted on 1001 Journals? I got all fired up tonight and signed up for two, then decided to start two.... I may have to back off one of the two I signed up for, but maybe not. I am last in line for both.

Flexing my writing hand and checking my supply of pens. :)

Um.... are there 3 sending here? Or just us two?

Oh and my exams finish on Thursday, so I plan *fingers crossed* to send my journal across the globe to you next weekend.

Just one last check...
  • We don't need to have page limits or anything right?? Cause that may ruin the 'artistic process'...
  • Journals can be sent as often as possible with a (flexible =P) 3-week maximum time limit

Umm I think thats all. Just trying to work out some logistics before it starts..

I think i'm 'thinking' too much about this... =P

I bought a journal today (actually I got two - one with lines, one without)
 Both are about 6"x8". But the black one (the art diary) has blank pages whereas the brown is the lines one. Which one do you think??

I feel silly asking this, its just youve done this before and although i really like the lined one.... well it has lines. Lines can ruin the art.

I was expecting this community to just me. So this is a nice surprise. I guess this journal sending business is pretty popular, huh.

So ummm... yes, as soon as I have a free moment to go journal shopping I will.
And then i'll guess i'll just sit at my desk for a few days staring at its crisp white pages, scared to draw or write anything in case I ruin it before it has even been posted....  Hopefully this wont last long, cause im so excited to be doing this. I can tell all my secrets to someone on the other side of the world. And it's better than having a diary or an invisable friend, cause this friend actually answers!!

Anyway, can't wait to start sharing lives with you all. I hope i'm not too boring... Otherwise I shall just have to document the life of my dog, Bean. She is a sausage. That fact alone keeps a smile on my face each day. My dog is a sausage.
