"BATTLESHIP" (2012) Review

Over a decade ago, the toy company Hasbro made a deal with Universal Pictures to produce and release a series of movies based upon their games and toys. The first movie to emerge from this deal turned out to be the 2009 movie, "G.I. JOE" THE RISE OF COBRA". Three years later, another movie emerged from this deal, namely an alien invasion tale called "BATTLESHIP". ( Collapse )

"LOST" RETROSPECT: (3.13) "THE MAN FROM TALLAHASSEE"

Aside from one or two episodes, I have no real love for the first half "LOST" Season Three. Along with the second half of Season Two and the first half of Season Six, it is one of my least favorite periods during the series' six-year run. However . . . I did say "first half". Aside from previous episodes like (3.07) "Not in Portland", (3.11) "Enter 77" and (3.12) "Par Avion"; Season Three truly began to redeem itself with the airing of the John Locke-centric episode called (3.13) "The Man From Tallahassee".
