"THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO" (1975) Review

There have been numerous adaptations of Alexandre Dumas père's 1844 novel, "The Count of Monte Cristo". I have seen at least three adaptations - two theatrical releases and a television movie. I had just recently viewed the latter, which aired on British television back in 1975, on DVD. ( Collapse )

Recently, the WGN Network began airing a new series about a group of Georgia slaves who plan and conduct a daring 600 miles escape to freedom in the Northern states called "UNDERGROUND".
