The best part about planning not to attend the ball is my lack of anxiety over costumes and dates.

I'm taking Muggle Studies because of the age old proverb "know thy enemies" and because if Father ever actually bothers to look at mail from Hogwarts it will send him into an early grave It is because of Muggle Studies that I know a new saying: "If all your friends jumped off a bridge, would you?"

Apparently, the answer is "yes". At least throughout all of Slytherin House. Which, actually, isn't all that surprising.
