Soo after an exhaustive search, I think I may have found my second suit:

I (obviously) put a lot of effort into finding the right swimsuits for the gay prom, but largely because I don't like the vast majority of the ones I find. There was literally one suit that I liked at Universal Gear last year, either because the suits are too slutty or too expensive. This one I like because it's distinctive - very few I've seen have prints, as most are solids/stripes. Good thing my abs look exactly like that too, otherwise I'd look like a fatass..

Soo preparations are now underway for the gay prom in June. I was in San Fran over the weekend and of course did a little homoshopping in Castro. I got one of my swimsuits for the big weekend, but haven't decided if it will be day or eveningwear:

More daring than last year's selection, but not too flashy either, and reminiscent of the Bond trunks I wanted last year - I'm guessing that was intentional on their part. Gay Nike, a good balance I think and a lovely color. I'll keep searching for my second suit, either board shorts or something marginally sluttier than this. Almost at the 12-week mark! Time to stop eating and start running.

On Boston
Soo I got to visit the BFF Aliyah for the first time in 2 years over the long weekend. Girl done got her study on and got herself into Harvard for dentistry. Needless to say her life is stressful, so I'm glad I was able to provide a much-needed distraction. Our esteemed friend Von, whom we met in Denmark, also came along for the ride.
Throughout the weekend we hit Machine on Friday, The Roxy on Saturday and The Estate on Sunday. Whoever said Boston had a shitty gay nightlife (e.g. everyone I asked) was wrong - I had a great time. I might have just been seeing things through the eyes of fresh meat, but still had a fab time. I kind of fell in love with a straight-acting Southie jock boy at Machine on Friday.. he had me in a headlock and made me promise to come to the Roxy on Saturday. Really, I was in no position to argue. I also now have entries in my phone for 'Never Answer' and 'Brian Boston (cute)' so I'll just let those speak for themselves.
I also began my love affair with 5-Hour Energy over the weekend. Everything you've heard is true, it's really just the best thing ever. So much so that I ordered a 12-pack and wish that I were already drinking it right this second. I'm going to San Francisco for the first time this weekend to visit some friends, so I'm sure I'll have ample opportunity to ride the red horse.
Well, at least the courthouse cafeteria has a nice view
Oh, Fenty
So I've kind of developed a little crush. As I was watching the SOTU address last night, I noticed DC's Mayor Adrian Fenty sitting there listening seductively to Chimpy McFlightsuit's little speech. You know, the one about how important it is to stay behind the rest of the world in math, science and technology because that's what Jesus would have wanted. Anyhoo, Fenty is pretty dreamy, and I have it on good authority that he's hung like a mule.
