Once upon a time, there was a fluid enviorment that contained a wide variety of different substances.
Eventually, the random collisions of tiny, simplistic objects resulted in the development of life.
This was highly unusual.
New organisms evolved and old ones died out, but none of them were as intelligent as a microwave oven.
This continued for an extremely long time.
Eventually they used up all the available resources and died.
