After the previous couple of issues, it is slightly reassuring to know whatever's going on in Barbara's head, she's not actually stupid enough to believe the word of the deranged maniac who abducted her and left her in a cell with the still-fresh corpse of a cheetah woman.

Contrast to Rebirth-era Barbara, whose fall to permanent furrydom in part relied on truly believing Diana jerked her over.

Though drinking the magic cheetah blood isn't exactly a reassurance of sanity, either.

The use of the word 'consort' might imply that more than one Cheetah may be running around at once. We could get a case os mistaken identity between a heroic and villainous Cheetah.
