Also, dropping him off a building? Very unimaginative. Some good old fashion brain damage should prevent him from being a threat. A tendril up the nose up the nose, a little selective cutting... Boom. Torment is taken care of and nobody is dead.

McGuinness has not been keeping to the design notes. It has not escaped my attention that when he took over, Venom and Carnage suddenly grew incongruous (and conspicuous) toes.

Oh, good eye. I'm going with symbolism. Earlier in the issue Venom's has some prominent incisors, not those needles or those sharper eyes.

There is an interesting character decision with MJ here, I’m not against it at all. But it will definitely depend on how the writer will builds from that decision.

A solid crossover benefiting from good-to-great characterization and a willingness to do stuff that at least feels like it's gonna stick. The two scenes shown here engage in a familiar debate--"Never kill" vs. "I mean, maybe OCCASIONALLY kill?"--but they do it in ways that feel fresh and surprising. I can dig it.
