And I remain dubious about Lemire's take on, apparently, "what if the Firestorm Matrix was independent" because it feels so much like King's recent take on Captain Atom in the Jenny Sparks mini-- atomic-powered hero with godlike abilities loses all restraint, like we haven't seen that before.
I'm not saying we need to go back to Firestorm as a Spider-Man-esque teen hero, but I'd like a fresh take on the character. Maybe something intelligent, thoughtful, capable of really playing with the idea of elemental transmutation and weird science.

Although, where has Jason gotten to lately?
(The only thing could find on the wiki says he and Ronnie were separated a way back, and as far as I can tell he's only been mentioned in lists or shown up in cameos.)
