I hope Peter's new friends stick around for a while, but I really don't see them staying regular cast. I fear this is an excuse to write Rae out by sending her and Glitch off-planet for her own health. Shame--imagine Peter having to explain an alien girlfriend. "We met while I was on vacation. In France."

It's possible Norman's attempts of injecting more and more of the serum to see if it would make him all crazy evil again has damaged his body. According to the chart, his powers are increasing. His strength and healing factor are improving while his body is breaking down. ...wonder what he's calling Miles about.
Honestly, it's more surprising this doesn't happen more often. All aliens going the way of the invaders in "War of the Worlds" or them bringing some disease with them that wipes out millions.

I think it's been so long in the development that we have to accept both Kaine and Ben are assholes to some degree or another. But poor Ben's been through even more, given he started out as "basically Peter Parker" and has ridden the misery train through dozens of deaths, that whole Jackal thing, the Chasm thing... sheesh.
