Yeah, I wasn't loving this miniseries and my the end of it I'll probably hate it. I regret adding it to my pull list at my LCS.I almost dropped it after reading this one but I'll stick with it to the end. Maybe as a hate read. I hope I can forget it ever existed so I can enjoy the original Huck again someday. I read it again just before this one started. It's such a hopeful outlier for Mark Millar. It's practically cozy. Of course he had to ruin it by making more.

I mean... they found someone who can bring the dead back to life the previous issue. I'm not too worried. I wish the evil boyfriend was handled less like a strawman though. I'm not saying people like this don't exist, it just feels very first draft.

Millar does that a lot, right? Didn't the Magic Order, the big crossover, and the teen vampires book brutally kill main characters then handwave them back to life?
