Date: 2025-08-11 12:29 am (UTC)Still, I think I can come up with a few other examples where Bendis was willing to chase his own ideas no matter what the wikis had to say about it or how off-pitch the characters' voices sounded as a result. There was a bit I discussed once about the Beast's remorse levels...but let's not go back into that one.
Thing is, though, I actually like most of Bendis' work, certainly more than his vocal critics, so this is more of a gentle tweaking than anything else.
