The Land of Scan

Hello, fellow Scanadians.
I would consider myself a veteran, having bloated my head [and other various bodily appendages] on the magical glass for over four years.
The beauty and result of the act have left me with some great stock images [at times I have even had the patience to scan individual parts and piece them together]- for some of us, it is almost impossible to make out a scanned image, however with the correct editing- I would say scanning may even begin to compete alongside mainstream photography...as any other hardcore junkie, my icon [and every other image submitted] are pure results of doing so..

I found this commnity since a friend recommended it to me. I'm an experienced scan girl, since September 2001 but I stopped after my first session because it hurted me for a week. My icon is from that date. But on February this year I saw some a girl with some scans and I said, why not? so I have posted some series and such in my journal and gallery.

I am a very bored girl home from college for the summer and needed a project. This was the result. I lay myself on my scanner waaaay too often, and I thought maybe... hopefully(?) I wasn't the only one. So scan yourself & post away. Go scanhappy.
