Is the price of a logo negotiable?

The price of each logo is set by the designer based on their experience, effort, and the creative process. If you have a specific budget in mind, you are welcome to contact the designer directly. They may be open to discussing options, but this depends on the designer and is not guaranteed.

Are design changes completely free?

Yes, small design changes are included for free. This includes things like color updates, text edits, and small visual adjustments. These can be requested during checkout or after the purchase.

Do I pay extra for multiple versions of my logo?

If multiple versions or formats are already included with your logo, you don’t pay anything extra. If you want additional versions that are not standard or mentioned, it is best to discuss this directly with the designer before buying.

What's included with a Scalebranding logo?

When you buy a logo on Scalebranding, you receive full ownership through a copyright transfer document. The files are ready for instant download after purchase and include vector (AI, EPS), PNG, and JPG formats. If you need additional formats, you can request them from the designer. You can also request free revisions during checkout, such as adjusting the text, colors, or small visual changes. Every logo is exclusive, which means it will never be sold again and you can use it for trademark registration.

What types of design changes are included with a logo?

Included changes are things like adding your business name, editing shapes, changing colors, or making other small visual updates. The designer will work with you to make sure the logo fits your brand. You can request these changes during checkout or after your order. The updated files are usually sent within two business days. If you want to be sure up front please contact the designer before you make your purchase.

What happens after I purchase the logo?

After purchasing, you can instantly download your logo files and the official copyright transfer document. The logo listing is marked as sold and removed from search, meaning no one else can buy it. If you request edits, the designer will send the updated files within two business days.

How long will logo design changes take?

Design changes are usually completed within 0 to 2 business days for the first revision. If you request several edits or provide a large revision list, it may take a bit longer.

Can I trademark a logo I bought?

Yes, once you purchase a logo and receive the copyright, you are allowed to apply for a trademark anywhere in the world.

Is a logo automatically trademarked?

No, your logo is not automatically trademarked when you buy it. You must register your logo with the official trademark office in your country. Because you receive full copyright ownership, you have the legal right to apply for a trademark, but approval is not guaranteed.

How do you make sure a logo is original?

Scalebranding reviews every logo manually before it is published, and we only work with approved designers who follow our policies. We do not allow the use of AI tools to create logos. Designers must confirm that their work is original. We also support our designers with tools like reverse image search to check for copies, and we provide help with DMCA takedowns if a logo is misused.

Can I use logos on your website without permission?

No, all logos on Scalebranding are protected by copyright and may not be used or copied without purchase. Once you buy a logo, you receive full legal rights along with a copyright transfer document. Scalebranding also uses DMCA protection to help protect our designers and buyers from copyright infringement.

Will I be able to print my logo on business cards, letterheads etc.?

Yes, your logo files are suitable for printing on business cards, letterheads, signage, and more. You can print the logo anywhere and as many times as you like, without paying extra. You have full legal rights to use it on any printed material.

Can I put a bought logo on a product or merchandise and sell it?

Yes, you can use your logo on any type of merchandise and sell those products without restriction. You just may not resell the logo itself or offer it as a product itself.

Can I request a custom logo design?

Yes! Scalebranding offers custom logo design services as an alternative to our ready-made logos. You can request a custom project through our custom logo design page.

Are the logos on Scalebranding created with AI?

No, Scalebranding does not allow the use of AI tools in the creation of logos. Designers must create their work manually, and we have a strict policy in place to enforce this.

Are these logos also sold elsewhere?

Designers are allowed to list their logos on other platforms, but only if those platforms follow the same rules as Scalebranding and respect the designers copyright and privacy in the same matter. The logo must be sold only once and removed everywhere immediately after it has been purchased. Stock sites or platforms that resell files are not allowed.

Can I request a refund for a bought logo?

Yes, refunds are possible if your request meets the terms of our return policy.

What qualifications do Scalebranding designers have?

All designers on Scalebranding are carefully selected. We manually approve each designer and they must follow our rules listed in our Designer Handbook. Each logo is also reviewed by our team before it goes live to help maintain the quality across the platform. While we cannot promise everything is perfect, we have clear processes in place to keep the standard high.

Is the logo really removed after I purchase it?

Yes, each logo is only sold once. After you purchase it, the product page will show that it has been sold and it is no longer available for others to buy.

Can I buy the same logo someone else already bought?

No, each logo is exclusive and can only be sold once. If it has been sold, it cannot be purchased again. Creating something similar is also not allowed, as it may violate copyright.

How do I get an invoice or VAT receipt for my logo purchase?

Invoices must be requested directly from the designer, since you are buying the logo from them and not from Scalebranding. In most cases, the designer will be able to provide it, but if this is important to you, we recommend checking with them before placing your order.

What payment methods are supported?

Because we use Stripe as our payment provider, Scalebranding supports many different payment methods. At the time of writing, you can pay with Alipay, Apple Pay, Bancontact, BLIK, credit cards, Cartes Bancaires, EPS, giropay, Google Pay, iDEAL, MobilePay, PayPal, Przelewy24, and Revolut Pay. Please note that this list may change over time.

Can I pay in a different currency?

Yes, Scalebranding supports many currencies from around the world. You can use the currency selector at the bottom of the website to change how prices are shown and pay in your selected currency. Some payment methods may only be available for specific currencies.
